Luigi Troiani L’autore analizza la struttura dell’offerta turistica di Rimini soffermandosi in particolare sul turismo estero. Nell’ambito degli studi economici, il termine “distretto” è in genere utilizzato con riferimento alle filiere di produzione industriale. Guardando alla realtà socio-economica del riminese e alla sua ampia qualificazione turistica, appare legittimo trasferire il termine al comparto dei servizi, anche tenendo conto dell’innovazione in materia, operata dal legislatore con la legge 140/99. Nel 1999, ad un apposito convegno, il distretto turistico riminese è stato proposto dall’Italia all’Ocse come “modello” di studio, in parte perché in questa zona il turismo assume il ruolo di motore dello sviluppo locale. L’autore conclude con alcune riflessioni sul fenomeno turistico del riminese, anche alla luce degli eventi del 11 settembre 2001. The author analyses the structure of the tourist industry in Rimini, giving special attention to the sector devoted to foreign tourists. In the economic literature, the term “district” is usually used to refer to networks for industrial production. Examining the socio-economic situation of the area around Rimini would seem to lend support to the extension of the term to the service sector, keeping in mind the relevant new developments in the field due to the introduction of the law 140/99. At a conference of the OECD in 1999, Italy proposed the Rimini tourist district as a “model” to be studied further, in part because in this region, tourism has become the engine of local development. The author concludes with some reflections on the tourist phenomenon in the Rimini area, including the possible impact on it of the events of 11th September 2001. |
